Invader 27″ Mountain Bike — Shimano SIS shifters, brakes tested, tyres flat, rusty used frame

Lot: Invader mountain bike with visible Invader decals, Shimano SIS indexed shifters and a triple chainset. This bike is a solid donor or rebuild project — clear evidence of heavy surface rust across the frame, fork, hubs and drivetrain, scratched/peeling paint and stickers, and a worn, dirty chain. Warehouse checked the mechanicals: brakes engage and hold, and gears shift through the full range (see notes). A purple cable lock is present but no key/combination is supplied.

Practical use: Ideal for a mechanic, hobbyist or bargain commuter who wants a low-cost repair/restoration project or a parts bike. With functioning brakes and shifting at the time of inspection, this frame and component set can be cleaned, lubed and recommissioned, or cannibalised for spares (wheels, rear derailleur, Shimano SIS shifters). Suits small workshop builds, cost-conscious students or DIY restorers.

– Condition: used; dirty with widespread surface rust, scratched and peeling decals/paint; corroded brake and shifter hardware.
