Product description
Lot: small wooden barrel cask mounted on a matching wooden stand, fitted with a brass-coloured spigot and three metal hoops. The front end shows a pyrography grape motif; metal fittings and the tap are present and the spigot is reported to work and seal. The piece has an attractive aged patina and visible surface wear that gives it character.
Perfect as a countertop or home-bar prop, display piece for themed restaurants or pubs, or a photographic/stage prop. Collectors of rustic and vintage-look items, craft upcyclers and interior stylists will value the authentic worn finish and compact footprint. Note: the barrel has visible hairline cracks between staves and watertightness has not been proven.
