Product description
Lot: Large ornate moulded picture frame (external 99 x 73 cm) presented with original glazing and cardboard backing. The heavily detailed black-and-silver moulding gives strong decorative impact; glazing is present but visibly cracked with a large triangular break in the lower-left. Backing board is in place and there is no artwork included.
This frame is ideal for restorers, prop houses, interior decorators or anyone wanting an immediate decorative surround to refinish and reuse. Use as a statement empty frame, replace the cracked glass and insert a print or mirror, or keep as a distressed feature in a vintage or industrial display. The fitted D-ring hangers (visible on the reverse) make it ready to hang once repaired.
