Lot: small Y.K.S.-marked student compound microscope — a compact educational instrument with a rotating nosepiece carrying three objective tubes, an eyepiece installed, coarse focus knobs, stage clips and an under-stage mirror. The objective turret is labelled 100x, 200x, 300x and 500x on the tube panel. The microscope is offered with its original hard plastic storage case. Photos show intact optics externally, chrome fittings and visible label wear on the tube.

Practical uses: ideal for a beginner school project, hobbyist or prop/display piece, or as a donor instrument for parts and restoration. The size and simple mirror illumination suit classroom demonstrations or casual specimen viewing where a mains light source is not required. Collectors of old student kit may also value this compact example that is complete and easy to transport in its case.
