Product description

Lot: Pair of wooden armchairs — classic slatted backs with shaped central splat, turned bobbin front legs and flowing curved arms. The solid timber frames present a warm patina and show clear evidence of age and use: surface scratches, scuffs and some finish loss on arms and legs. Cushioned seats are covered in a pale fabric; the warehouse notes upholstery as generally good but the photos show light discolouration/staining.

These chairs suit a restoration project, a period dining or study room, boutique hospitality fit-outs or anyone who wants comfortable seating with character. Re-upholster the cushions for an instant refresh, tighten the joints and use them as statement armchairs at the head of a table or as occasional seating in a living room or office.

  • Includes: Two matching wooden armchairs, sold as a pair.
  • Condition: Used — fair. Visible surface wear, scratches, scuffs and areas of finish loss; light staining/discolouration to seat fabric; small drilled/missing fastener hole in one arm; scuffed feet.
  • Structural condition: Some looseness reported (needs attention/tightening).
  • Measurements (overall): H 100 x W 60 x D 50 cm. Seat height not provided.
  • Working status: Not applicable (furniture).
  • Notes: No maker’s marks visible in supplied photos.
