3-piece Tamboti-wood caned seating set — 3-seat sofa + 2 armchairs, cushions included, needs re-caning & surface repair

Lot: a three-piece caned seating set comprising a three-seat sofa and two matching armchairs. Visible features include carved wooden frames with scroll arms, caned backs and seat webbing, and three loose seat cushions. Uploader notes the frames are Tamboti wood. The wood shows surface wear, chips and areas of finish loss; several areas of the seat caning/webbing are loose or broken and will need re-caning or replacement.

This set is ideal for a furniture restorer, upcycler or interior project where character frames are desired — keep the Tamboti timber, re-cane the seats and backs, then reupholster or use the existing cushions for temporary seating. Suit buyers who want a matching three-seater and two armchairs for restoration, photo/styling props, or a workshop/project that can return these frames to usable condition.
