Pair of signed small still-life canvases — two jug paintings, each 31 x 23 x 4 cm (signed ‘H. Bateman’ appears)

Lot: a matched pair of small signed still-life canvases depicting jugs. Both pieces are painted on stretched canvas and carry a lower-edge signature that appears to read ‘H. Bateman’ (visible in supplied images). Strong, warm background tones and bold highlights on the white and green jugs give these two matching panels immediate visual appeal for a kitchen, dining nook or informal gallery wall.

These canvases suit buyers looking for ready-to-frame decorative art, a coordinated pair for a café, rental property or home styling project, or a collector of signed small-scale still-life works. They work well displayed side-by-side as photographed or separated as two accent pieces in smaller rooms. No framing or hanging hardware is shown, so they are ideal for someone who will mount or float-frame to taste.
