Product description
Lot: white woven-look storage ottoman / blanket box — a low-profile, practical storage bench on tapered brass-coloured legs. The piece has a padded, hinged lid with a chain stay and an interior painted compartment. Strong visible features: textured white covering, gold-trim detail around lid and base, four tapered brass-coloured legs and a roomy internal storage space.
Use this as extra household storage for throws, linen or toys, a hallway or end-of-bed blanket box, or a handy prop for home staging and upcycling projects. The lid and hinges hold open (chain stay fitted) and the interior is painted clean; the ottoman would suit a buyer who wants a functional storage piece now or a small reupholstery/cosmetic refresh project to restore its finish.
- What’s included: single upholstered storage ottoman / blanket box with hinged lid and chain stay (no additional accessories).
- Condition: fair — noticeable cosmetic wear. Top upholstery shows surface stains and marks; close-up photos show areas of glue/paint residue and bubbling beneath the lid covering. Trim and leg edges have minor scuffs; interior paintwork has a few chips and scuffs.
- Measurements: 90 x 39 x 49 cm (L x W x H).
- Working status: Not applicable (non-powered furniture). Hinges and chain stay present and hold the lid open.
- Known faults: staining/discolouration to top surface; glue/paint residue and bubbling under lid covering; interior paint chips and scuffs; edge wear to trim and minor scuffs to legs. No maker marks visible; upholstery material not confirmed.
