Product description
Impressive hand-carved root-wood sculpture featuring a large elephant head with tusk-like inserts above a cluster of carved heads — lion, buffalo and rhino — carved from a single piece of wood. The strong vertical form and pronounced carved detail give this piece real presence for a foyer, mantel or gallery shelf. Photos and warehouse inspection show the tusk-like inserts are not real ivory (reported as synthetic/wood), and the surface carries age and handling marks that add patina.
This is a decorative, statement display piece for collectors of ethnographic-style carvings, safari-themed interiors, lodges or anyone wanting a dramatic focal point. It suits an entry, living room or themed commercial space where rustic, hand-worked character is wanted rather than museum-grade restoration. The piece is freestanding and ready to display as-is.
