Signed Maureen J. Lowery oil landscape, textured impasto — gilt frame, 59 x 74 x 3 cm (framed)

A sunlit rural landscape signed lower-left Maureen J. Lowery — a colourful oil work with obvious impasto texture and strong mid-century decorative appeal. The scene shows a dirt track, a small cart and distant homestead framed by tall trees; the painting is presented in a wide gilt slip frame with linen slip and a cardboard reverse with hanging wire. Photographs show the artist signature clearly and rich brushstroke texture across the surface.

This piece suits collectors of signed South African landscapes, a decorator seeking a statement picture for a living room or study, or a business wanting a warm, narrative scene for reception walls. The size and ornate gold frame give immediate presence over a console or mantel and the textured oil handling reads well at a short distance — an attractive option for resale, staging or display.
