Selling

How to sell on eHawker.

Selling should feel simple: show us the item, tell us the truth about it, choose the auction route, drop it off, and eHawker handles the auction process.

eHawker is not a normal online shop where you set a fixed price and wait for a buyer. Your item is listed as an auction lot. Buyers bid against each other, the timer counts down, and the highest bidder wins. This works especially well for mixed stock, used goods, returns, collectibles, tools, furniture, appliances and household items where the market should decide the final price.

The listing assistant helps sellers who do not want to write titles and descriptions from scratch. You upload clear photos, add an optional video or voice note, and give an honest short note about the condition. The assistant turns that into a draft listing for review.

1Verify seller profile

Upload ID or passport, proof of residence and banking details before selling is activated. This protects the marketplace and helps eHawker pay the correct person.

2Use the listing assistant

Add photos, optional video and a short voice note. Show labels, model numbers, damage, accessories and whether the item works.

3Answer relevant questions

Answer the required questions completely, honestly and accurately so your item can be submitted with the correct condition notes and scores.

4Select auction date

Choose from the available future auction dates that match the item and auction type, such as general, high-end or antique where eligible.

5Drop off stock

Your item does not go live immediately. It goes live only after warehouse intake, label printing and processing.

6Receive payout

After the item sells, payment and refund-window rules must clear before eligible seller payouts are batched.

Seller FAQs

Can I list an item from home and sell it immediately?

No. The listing can be drafted from home, but it only goes live once the item has been dropped off and processed by the warehouse team.

Do I have to write the product description myself?

No. Upload good photos and give a short honest description or voice note. The listing assistant helps turn that into a clear auction listing.

Can every item go to a high-end auction?

No. High-end auction selection is only available for eligible items with a strong enough auction score. Antique auctions are only for eligible antique and collectible items.
