Lot: carved wooden blanket chest — a stout, decorative storage trunk with a carved running-animals panel to the front, turned bracket feet and original brass hasp. The chest shows an attractive warm grain and carved detail that will appeal to collectors and lovers of character furniture; the lid opens and closes smoothly and the hasp is present and operational (no key supplied).
