Product description
Megamaster built-in LPG gas grill — heavy-duty stainless top with removable stainless cooking bars, original Megamaster badge visible and hose + regulator included. Photos show the unit can be lit (flame test images supplied) but internal burners and ceramic/fire-rock area are severely corroded and disintegrating. Exterior stainless has staining, scratches and pitting consistent with long use.
This lot suits a buyer who wants a project unit, replacement-burner repair or parts for a built-in braai. Ideal for a handyman, caterer or installer who can replace the internal burner/ceramic inserts and deep-clean the box to restore performance, or for use as a donor shell for a custom built-in counter. The included hose and regulator mean you can test and use it to confirm connections while you repair the internals.
- Included: Megamaster stainless top body, removable stainless cooking bars (shown), LPG pipe and regulator (included and reported serviceable).
- Condition: Used; exterior braai top intact but heavily soiled; interior burners, internal mesh and fire-rock area severely corroded, disintegrating and partly missing.
- Measurements (approx): 60 cm (left-right) x 50 cm (front-back over grid) x 23 cm high (from ground) — see tape-measure photos.
- Working status: Working with faults — seller supplied photos showing the unit lit; seller reports it “works, but not as effectively as it should.”
- Known faults / notes: severe internal corrosion and missing/deteriorated burner/mesh parts; heavy grease and carbon buildup; missing fire rocks; cooking bars dirty but present; visible surface staining, scratches and pitting; may require burner replacement, ceramic/fire-rock refill and deep cleaning.
- Safety note: pipe and regulator are present and reported serviceable; internal burner parts are heavily corroded — replacement and a professional safety check are recommended before regular use.
