Product description

Murphy 192 vintage valve radio in a bright red cabinet — visible tuning dial stamped “murphy 192”, original valve chassis and speaker present and a power transformer visible. The set retains two original black control knobs, the tuning scale and internal vacuum tubes; it shows authentic age with paint chips, surface scratches, dust, corrosion on some metal parts and an exposed control shaft where a small knob is missing.

This radio is ideal for a restorer, parts donor or retro-decor project: use as a display prop in a café, film set or shop, or repair and return to working order if you have valve radio experience. The cabinet offers a strong visual statement even before restoration and the labelled Murphy South Africa chassis makes it attractive to collectors seeking original components or period-correct replacements.
