Product description
Lot: Pair of small tub/barrel armchairs in blue damask-style upholstery with exposed wooden arm rails and removable seat cushions. The pair present a strong visual pattern and compact silhouette; photographs show the original patterned fabric, piping trim and solid-looking wooden frames. Both chairs have visible outer-arm seam splits, fraying and exposed stuffing in places and scuffed/worn finish to the wood.
Practical uses: These compact tub chairs suit a restoration project, boutique waiting area, studio or vintage-styled corner where a patterned pair makes an immediate visual statement. Ideal for furniture upcyclers, upholsterers or buyers wanting a matched set to re-cover — the frames are reported as structurally sound so a relatively quick re-upholstery or trim repair will return them to daily use.
- Includes: Two matching tub/barrel armchairs, both with removable seat cushions.
- Condition: Upholstery poor — visible tears, fraying and seam splits with some stuffing exposed; piping/trim coming away in places. Wood frames have scuffs, knocks and worn finish but are reported solid.
- Measurements: 78 x 59 x 49 cm (H x W x D).
- Working status: N/A (non-powered seating).
- Known faults: Outer-arm seam splits and fraying, exposed stuffing at arm edges, piping coming away, scuffed/worn wooden arm rails and legs.
