Product description
Lot: small blue bench vise body — a solid cast-steel/iron vise frame and jaw set offered as a workshop part or restoration project. Photos show the fixed and movable jaw faces, mounting base with bolt holes and the rear hollow shaft; the paint is chipped and there is surface rust across the body and jaw faces.
This is ideal for a handyman, metalworker or hobbyist who needs a replacement bench-vise frame, spare jaws or a donor base for a custom workbench. Suitably useful for welding shops, garage repairs or as a refurbishment project — restore, rethread and fit a new lead screw/handle or use the frame and jaws for clamps and fixtures.
- Includes: single bench-vise body with fixed and movable jaws and mounting base (single lot).
- Condition: used with surface rust, paint loss, wear to jaw faces and light pitting — visible in photos.
- Measurements: maximum jaw opening reported 11 cm (photos show approx. 11 cm gap at maximum).
- Working status: declared “working with faults” by warehouse — the sliding/jaw mechanism moves but the lead screw and handle are missing.
- Known faults: missing lead screw/handle (vice cannot be tightened normally), worn jaw teeth, surface rust and chipped paint. No maker mark visible.
