Product description
Strong, versatile wooden blanket chest with panelled exterior, removable internal tray and brass chain stay — solid structure and a classic, plain-lined look. Photographs show the full exterior, underside and interior: the lid stays open on its hinges, a lock escutcheon and lock plate are present at the front but no key is supplied, and the internal tray (shown) fits the chest. Surface wear and paint marks are visible in the interior and on the top.
This chest works as bedroom storage, a blanket or linen trunk, an entryway bench (add a cushion) or storage for a studio or shop. Its compact footprint and low height suit rooms where a wide, shallow piece is needed — people looking for practical secondhand furniture, restorers who enjoy a light refresh, or prop and exhibition buyers will all find it useful.
- Includes: the wooden blanket chest and the removable internal tray (tray shown and fits).
